Regal Heights Village BIA is here to help all Landlords/Property Owners of Regal Heights Village.


To qualify for our 1 on 1 help you must be a property owner and/or Landlord of a property in Regal Heights Village, along St. Clair Ave West between west of Winona Drive and east of Westmount Ave.

The property owner must be present for our appointment with proof of ID.

 

What to Expect During Our Appointment


• Meeting will be at a currently closed storefront

• Unfortunately the meeting will be held in English only, if you require a translator, please bring along your own translator

• We will be seated at least 6 feet apart for social distancing

• All tables and chairs will be disinfected between each appointment

• All documents you provide will be placed on a table

• There will be a projector showing you what is on our computer screen, so we can work together to login and fill in the necessary information for your application.

• There will be a scanner to scan all necessary documents for your application

• All documents will be returned to you, and any scanned documents will be emailed to you if you wish for your records. We will NOT keep any documents and all scanned documents will be deleted from our computer systems.

 

What You Need to Bring to Our Appointment

In order for us to best assist you, you will need to bring with you the following to our appointment;

1. CREATING AN ACCOUNT

Please call us at 437-235-1299 and we can help you set up your account over the phone. This is only the first step, we will still need the information below and meet in order to complete your application.
 

2. BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION

• This would be the bank account information you use for your commercial property. It would be easiest if you can bring with you a void cheque or the following information.

 

3. TENANT INFORMATION

You will require your Tenant's help in obtaining the information below in order to fill out this section.

• Registered Business Name

• Business Number

• Number of Employees

• Gross consolidated revenues from last fiscal year-end (not including HST)


4. RENTAL INFORMATION

• Area in square feet leased

• Gross Monthly rent


5. GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS

Please download the following documents below to fill out and sign.

If you require help printing these documents, please let us know in advance so we can provide you with the documents and for you to complete and sign to bring with you to our appointment.

Executed Rent Reduction Agreement: You will need to provide one for each of the tenants and/or properties and fill in the correct information. Your tenant(s) will also be required to sign this agreement.
Attestation from the Property Owner
Attestation from the Impacted Tenant(s): Each tenant will be required to fill one out
NOTE: All of the above documents will require a witness' signature.


6. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS

Property tax statement

Bank account Statement
This should be the same bank as the information you provided above.

Rent roll for the Property.
If your building is a mix residential and commercial, you will be required to provide the rent roll for all tenants in the building and not just the commercial tenant. Please feel free to download a Rent Roll Template to print and fill out HERE.

We will require these documents in order to scan them and uploaded to the government site as part of your application.
